An energy management scheme for hybrid energy system using Fuzzy Logic Controller

This paper presents a Fuzzy Logic Controller-based energy management system (EMS) to control hybrid sources. The design is single-phase and grid-tied sized handle the system's diverse load demands. consists of photovoltaic modules, grid source standby generator. uses produced by PV modules (using Perturbation Observation MPPT maximize generated from modules) power stored in Energy Storage Unit (ESU) fulfil various needs while prioritizing selling excess grid. fuzzy controller controls manages highlighted operational activities prevents ESU overcharging undercharging. Simulink adopted implement proposed within simulation period; as irradiation increased 0W/m2 100W/m2, grid's supply dropped 6000W 4000W because amount generation between 0.6s 0.8s. module contributed overall consumption keeping DC bus voltage 396V 406V. EMS using logic provides high levels security, effectiveness O &M cost optimization. It has also offered consistent uninterrupted supply.
